iViRTH wants ivirth.online to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology, keyboards, screen magnification or speech input, and people with cognitive, hearing, motor or visual differences. This statement describes our standard, what we have done, what is still imperfect, and how to tell us about a barrier.
1. Our commitment and standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of design and content quality and review it whenever the site changes.
2. Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, based on our own review. It has not yet been independently audited. “Partially conformant” means most requirements are met, with the known exceptions listed below. We will update this statement after any formal audit.
3. Accessibility features
- Keyboard access: navigation, menu, accordions, forms and the quick-navigation palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K or “/”) can be used without a mouse, with a visible focus outline.
- Skip link: “Skip to content” is the first focusable item on every page.
- Structure: one main heading per page, a consistent heading hierarchy, landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and descriptive link text.
- Contrast: body and secondary text are set in light colours on a dark background with a protective layer behind text over the animated scene.
- Reduced motion: if your device requests reduced motion, animations, transitions and reveal effects are minimised.
- No-JavaScript fallback: all page content is shown without animation if scripts are unavailable.
- Forms: every field has a label, required fields are marked, and the consent checkbox is a native control.
- Sound off by default: the optional ambient sound never plays unless you turn it on.
- Responsive: layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and text can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content.
- Decorative visuals hidden from assistive technology: the 3D background is hidden from screen readers.
4. Known limitations
- Animated 3D background: it is decorative but may be distracting. Enable “reduce motion” in your operating system to minimise movement.
- Pinned horizontal “How it works” section: it scrolls sideways as you scroll down. The same steps are in the page text and keyboard focus can still reach them, but the pinned behaviour can be harder to use with some assistive tools.
- Contrast over animation: large headings sit over a moving background, so contrast can vary slightly; the text layer is designed to keep it readable.
- Custom cursor: a decorative cursor appears only with a mouse or trackpad and is not used on touch devices.
- Third-party documents: external standards and regulatory sources we link to are not under our control and may not be fully accessible.
- Sample passport demo: the QR graphic in the demonstration is illustrative and is not scannable.
We are working to reduce these limitations.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and common screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. It relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript; WebGL enhances the background but is not required to read content.
6. Alternative formats and help
If you cannot use part of the site, or need information in another format or by another route, we will help, for example by providing the content in plain text or by email. We also publish a plain-text version of the site at llms-full.txt.
7. Feedback and complaints
Tell us about any barrier, or ask for an accessible alternative: email hello@ivirth.in with “Accessibility” in the subject, or use the contact page. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you use. We aim to acknowledge your message within five working days and to give you a substantive reply or a fix plan promptly after. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant accessibility or consumer authority in your country.
8. How we assess
We assess accessibility by reviewing pages against WCAG 2.2 AA, testing keyboard operation, zoom and reduced-motion settings, and checking page structure, labels and colour contrast. We re-check when we add or change content or features.
9. Technical specifications
Accessibility of this site relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA where needed, CSS and JavaScript. These technologies are used in conformance with the accessibility standards referenced above.
10. Statement date
This statement was prepared on 16 October 2026 and will be reviewed at least once a year and after significant changes.
