This notice explains how iViRTH (“iViRTH”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use ivirth.online (“the site”). We aim to collect only what we need, use it for clear purposes, and respect your choices and rights under applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK GDPR.
1. Who we are
iViRTH is an R&D company based in Uttar Pradesh, India. ivirth.online is the solutions site for digital twins, digital product passports, traceability and lifecycle data; our corporate site is ivirth.in. For personal information you give us through this site, iViRTH decides why and how it is used (the “data fiduciary” under the DPDP Act, or “controller” under GDPR).
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry details you choose to provide: name, work email, organisation, industry, project type, number of records or entities, the product, asset, facility or process involved, current data sources and systems, desired outcome and timeline, and any message.
- Correspondence: what you send us by email and what we reply.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps for security and reliability.
- Browser storage: a session-storage flag that records the intro animation has played (see Cookies).
We do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include confidential supplier, commercial or personal data of third parties in an enquiry; we will agree how to handle project data separately.
3. How the enquiry form works
The form does not send data to a server on this site. When you submit it, your email app opens with your enquiry pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you press send in that app. The message is then handled by your email provider and ours. You can edit or remove any detail before sending.
4. Why we use your information and our legal basis
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries, clarifying requirements, scoping a pilot or assessment | Your consent (you submit and agree to be contacted); legitimate uses; steps before a contract |
| Following up on a proposal or engagement you requested | Consent / performance of a contract |
| Securing and maintaining the site; preventing abuse | Legitimate interests / legitimate uses |
| Meeting legal obligations and handling disputes | Legal obligation / legal claims |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that significantly affect you.
5. Who we share it with
Only as needed, and only with parties bound to protect it: email, hosting and infrastructure providers that run the site and our mailboxes; professional advisers; and authorities where the law requires. If we later add analytics, scheduling or CRM tools, we will list them in this notice. We may share information within iViRTH’s corporate group so the right team can respond.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside India. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual commitments, and we limit what is transferred.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to handle any resulting engagement, to meet legal, accounting or dispute requirements, and then delete or anonymise it. If you ask us to erase your information, we will do so unless the law requires us to retain it.
8. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures, including access limited to people who need it and encrypted connections (HTTPS) to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our security overview. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
9. Your rights
- Access a summary of the personal information we hold and how it is used.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erase information that is no longer needed for its purpose.
- Withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect earlier lawful use.
- Grievance redressal and the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (DPDP Act).
- If GDPR applies: also restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
To exercise a right, email hello@ivirth.in with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity, and we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local authority.
10. Children
This site is intended for business visitors and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Customer and project data
Data you provide for a pilot or implementation (such as product, material, asset or supplier records) is handled under the written agreement for that engagement, which sets ownership, access, retention and deletion. See data principles. Public passport pages never include confidential supplier, commercial, personal or operational data.

This site links to other sites, including ivirth.in and standards bodies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their notices.
